Weymouth – Kathryn N ( O ‘Toole ) Countie age 78, passed away on Saturday May 11,2012 at Weymouth Health Care devoted wife of the late Thomas E Countie for 57 years.
Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Mark and Abigail (Barrett) O’ Toole.For many years she worked as a supervisor at the North Terminal Corp in Hingham until she retired. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, Irish music, reading and loved a good game of crypt-o-quote with her husband.
Loving mother of Thomas Countie of Weymouth, Noreen Countie of RI, Sharon McGrath and her husband Tim of Carver, and Sandra Andrae of New Bedford. Proceeded by her children, Michael Countie and Barbara Knowles. Eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Sister of Agnes Doren of Quincy, Anne Szczesny of Holbrook, Margaret (Peggy) Hausherr of Watertown, Ellen Leland of Brighton, ME and proceeded by John O’Toole, Barbara Staples, Mary Stracuzzi, and Tom O’Toole.Also sister-in law of Tony Stracuzzi of Florida and life time friend of Doris O’Keefe of Hingham. Funeral from the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (columbian Sq.) South Weymouth, on Wednesday May 16, at 9 A.M. followed by a funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church 720 Broad St. E. Weymouth at 10 A.M. Visiting hours form 4-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home, Relatives and friends invited.
